Where is Gitto Farmers Market located?
Gitto and Sons Health Foods has two New York locations: our Brooklyn store at 38 Brooklyn Terminal Market, Brooklyn, NY 11236, and our Bronx store (Gitto African Farmers Market) at 4141 Laconia Ave, Bronx, NY 10466.
What are your store hours?
Our Brooklyn Terminal Market location is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am to 7:00pm. Our Bronx Laconia Avenue location is open daily from 7:00am to 9:00pm.
Do you offer home delivery?
Yes. You can shop Gitto’s Farmers Market online for home delivery and pickup through Mercato, and through Instacart for delivery in as fast as one hour. Look for the “Shop for Delivery” links on our site.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Gitto and Sons Health Foods supplies wholesale to stores, restaurants, juice bars, and distributors across the New York area and beyond. Browse our catalog and use the “Request a Quote” button, or email info@gittofoods.com for current wholesale pricing and availability.
What kinds of products do you carry?
We carry a full range of Caribbean, African, and natural-foods groceries across 17 departments — including sea moss and superfoods, spices and seasonings, nuts and dried fruit, grains and rice, beans and lentils, African foods, Caribbean and Haitian staples, fresh meat, fresh and frozen seafood, frozen vegetables, snacks, candy, and pantry essentials.
Do you sell sea moss?
Yes. Sea moss is one of our specialties. We carry raw dried sea moss, Irish moss, and sea moss gel under our Gitto natural-foods line, available at both locations, online for delivery, and wholesale.
Do you carry African and Caribbean foods?
Absolutely. We stock authentic West African staples such as pounded yam, egusi, okazi, and moringa, as well as Caribbean and Haitian favorites like sorrel, djon djon, plantains, and traditional grains and seasonings under our Gitto African and Ranje Fwaye brands.
How do I request wholesale pricing or a quote?
Visit any product page and click “Request a Quote,” use our Contact page form, or email info@gittofoods.com with the items and quantities you need. Our team will reply with current pricing and availability.
Do you have a weekly circular or specials?
Yes. You can view our current weekly circular online — the Brooklyn circular is available through KeyFood, and the Bronx circular is available at gittofarmersmarkets.com. Links are in our site menu and footer.
